Summer Reading Celebration with The Great &Powerful Dave Aug 21

This event will take place in person at the Kingsbridge Library on Thursday August 21 @ 2:00. /*–>*/ My 45-minute show is a blend of magic, puppets, comedy, and audience participation that celebrates the fun of reading and visiting your library all summer long. I seamlessly weave into the show information specific to your summer reading program – the goals, the prizes, upcoming activities & events. The result is a goofy, wildly-entertaining infomercial for your summer reading program and all that your library has to offer. If time permits, I follow with a 10-minute magic workshop in which I teach the children a couple magic tricks that I learned from library books.    Presented by  The Great & Powerful  Dave’s Magic Show ​​ Major support provided by the New York Life Foundation, the 2025 city-wide sponsor for the Summer Reading and Learning Programs.
