Anne Frank The Exhibition

Anne Frank The Exhibition

For the first time in history, Anne Frank House presents a full-scale recreation of the rooms where Anne Frank, her parents and sister, and four other Jewish inhabitants spent two years hiding to evade Nazi capture. Anne Frank The Exhibition premieres in NYC at the Center for Jewish History. This presentation provides a captivating experience for visitors as they encounter the context that shaped Anne’s life—from her early years in Frankfurt through the rise of the Nazi regime and the family’s 1934 move to Amsterdam, where Anne lived until her 1944 arrest and deportation to Westerbork, a large transit camp in the Netherlands, then to Auschwitz-Birkenau, a concentration camp and killing center in Nazi-occupied Poland, and eventually to her death at Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in Germany when she was 15 years old. Ages 10 and older. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Heroes & Villains Lower Manhattan Walking Tour
8:30 PM SundayJun 1, 20251 Bowling Green

Heroes & Villains Lower Manhattan Walking Tour

In New York, we love stories about heroic acts, courageous actions and the brave people who shaped New York.  Bad actors had as much to do with shaping New York City as the acclaimed heroes – but even those heroes had skeletons in their closets.  The Reynolds Pamphlet, anyone? Liam’s Heroes & Villains Walking Tour of Lower Manhattan, uncovers stories hidden beneath the ones appearing in all of the history books.  From Jeremiah Hamilton to Hetty Green to some of the iconic filming locations where well known fictional heroes & villains (John Wick, anyone?) were brought to our screens, Liam covers it all. This tour is great for families and folks who love history as much as they love TV shows and movies.

Heroes & Villains Lower Manhattan Walking Tour
8:30 PM TuesdayJun 3, 20251 Bowling Green

Something BIG is coming this spring to New York, as Dinosaur Safari returns with a roar to the Bronx Zoo! Guests will get up close with some of the largest animals to ever walk the Earth, including more than 60 life-size animatronic dinosaurs and pterosaurs. Dinosaur Safari is a beloved tradition and immersive walkthrough experience at the Bronx Zoo that has captured the hearts and curiosity of families and paleontologists-in-training for years. New this year, guests will marvel at the 11 brand-new dinosaurs and pterosaurs making their debut as they move and roar with new cutting-edge animatronic technology so realistic that guests will feel like they’re transported back to prehistoric times. From the 43-foot Giganotosaurus, to a pair of Sphaerotholus, to the famous apex predator Tyrannosaurus rex, encountering a Triceratopsand Ankylosaurus, dino lovers of all ages will take a step back in time, but make memories guaranteed to last a lifetime. Dinosaur Safari adventurers will also experience: (NEW) Walkthrough Rib Cage Tunnel: Who else can say they’ve walked through a dinosaur rib cage? Take a walk through a life-sized Mamenchisaurus rib cage and see just how big these giants were when they walked the Earth. (NEW) Climbable Fossil: Crawl atop and explore the skull and ribs of a life-sized Sinraptor fossil. (NEW) Dino Egg Photo Opp: Take unforgettable photos with family and friends “hatching” from larger-than-life Maiasaura eggs. Fossil Dig Site: Get hands-on with an immersive dig site where guests can dig up ancient fossils and discover the very latest scientific discoveries about dinosaurs. And so much more to explore. Journey through the ages and uncover how these prehistoric species are connected to modern dinosaurs that are still alive today – birds! Along the immersive adventure, guests will encounter live interpreters along the trail and learn new discoveries about these ancient creatures, including some of the physical and behavioral adaptations used by many dinosaurs and modern wildlife, such as birds and other present-day animals.
