Looking for a splash-tastic way to beat the heat during the pool break? Join us at Lyons Recreation Center for some awesome outdoor games for youth Monday - Friday between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.! Join us for jumbo Connect Four and jumbo Jenga for towering fun. Challenge your friends to a game of skill with Nok Hockey or test your aim with cornhole. Movies Under the Stars: The Wild Robot
Grab a blanket and come enjoy a movie in a neighborhood park or playground! This summer, NYC Parks and The Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment will host family-friendly movie showings across the five boroughs. After a shipwreck, an intelligent robot called Roz is stranded on an uninhabited island. To survive the harsh environment, Roz bonds with the island's animals and cares for an orphaned baby goose. Rated PG The following movie has been rated PG. Some material may not be suitable for children. The film should be investigated further by parents before they let their younger children attend. Movies begin at dusk. This event is FREE and open to the public. Glass bottles and alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. Women’s Equality Day commemorates the anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which granted women the right to vote on August 26, 1920. More than 100 years have passed since this historic expansion of voting rights in the United States, yet the story of Suffragists and their contributions still resonates today. We will feature stories of notable women who participated in the fight for equality across New York State, and the experiences of everyday women who advocated for their rights from the home and hearth

Sunday Story Time
*This event will take place in person at the Todt Hill-Westerleigh Library.* Join us for a live program with songs, rhymes, and favorite read-aloud books as we show you that storytime is fun for the whole family. Ideal for caregivers with multiple-aged children. Storytime is a program for parents/caregivers and their children.
