The Subway Doodle Experience
The Banksy Museum is proud to announce the first solo show by renowned multimedia artist Subway Doodle. Subway Doodle, celebrated for transforming the mundane into the magical by drawing whimsical blue creatures into New York City subway scenes, will take over the museum’s performance space with an all-new immersive experience. “Subway Doodle’s work is imaginative, humorous, and undeniably New York,” said William Meade, Executive Director of The Banksy Museum. Kids (and adults) will love the “Brooklyn Pony,” a giant rideable rat, and subway car set that puts you in the doodle. Three screens showcase an impressive body of work that ranges from silly to political, and sometimes somewhere in between. Some work may not be suitable for all ages. The Subway Doodle Experience is free. An additional fee is required for the rest of the museum.

Toddler Parenting Circle | Facilitated by an Early Childhood Expert
Join the Corlears School for a toddler family meet-up and connect with fellow parents/guardians experiencing the joys (and occasional challenges!) of raising children ages 1–3. The circle will be facilitated by Colleen Goddard, Ph.D, who serves as the Early Childhood Division Director at Corlears School in addition to her role as an adjunct professor at Brooklyn College. In an informal but nurturing setting, families will have the opportunity to share with one another and ask Colleen questions about the early childhood years. As the conversation unfolds, Colleen can share about any number of topics related to early childhood, including: -How toddlers learn about the world around and within them -Play as a form of expression and understanding -The importance of meaningful relationships rooted in trust and reciprocity -Methods for supporting socialization -Cognitive development and meeting milestones … and more. Parenting circles are brand-new to Corlears, and we hope you can join us for our Summer 2025 soft launch. Your attendance and honest feedback is welcomed as we explore this new way to support families during toddler parenthood. These sessions are an expansion of Corlears School’s Learn. Play. Grow. initiative, which offers free family programming on select Saturdays throughout the school year. “LPG Saturdays” will return in the fall.

Presented in collaboration with Lincoln Center as part of the Summer for the City programming. Lincoln Center’s free Storytime programming returns at Summer for the City—and, due to continued popular demand, we have scheduled two readings every Wednesday! Together they will sing from Wicked, perform a scene from their novel, facilitate interactive theater games, chat about the importance of representation in the arts, and answer audience questions. In this Storytime aimed at children ages 0-6, Stroker and Davidowitz offer a glimpse into the joys of expression through song and dance, and bringing stories to life with friends There are two ways to access this free event: 1.
