Long Island Nets Summer Fest

Long Island Nets Summer Fest is designed to bring together fans, families and local supporters in celebration of community. The event will feature a live DJ and music, performances by the Long Island Nets Dance Team, a meet-and-greet with team mascot Dale the Eagle, and free giveaways from the team and community vendors. Additionally, for the first time, Summer Fest will feature two youth basketball clinics, a youth dance clinic, and a 5K Run Club. The 5K Run Club will meet at 9:30 a.m. and is open to participants of all ages. Registration is now open for the following clinics: Youth Basketball Clinics Session 1: 10-11 a.m. (open to boys and girls, ages 5–9) Session 2: 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. (open to boys and girls, ages 10–14) Dance Clinic 10-11 a.m. (open to boys and girls, ages 6–16) The Long Island Nets will also launch their Back-to-School Donation Drive at Summer Fest in support of local students on Long Island. Attendees are encouraged to donate traditional school supplies to help youth in the Long Island community start the school year strong. Photo: Long Island Nets
