This day long community celebration features a community parade, free luncheon for senior citizens, family field day, cornhole, line dancing, more! 8:30 – Port Washington Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony – Program begins promptly at 9:00 with the parade of former Inductees – Schreiber HS Lobby/Auditorium 10:45 – Showcase of local entertainment – At the TONH Showmobile in front of the PW Train Station 11:30 – Kick off of Parade – with the GRAND MARSHA,L Rachel Fox. Inductees of the Athletic Hall of Fame, School participation and Floats from each school, bands, organizations, PWFD, PWPD 12:30 – Senior Luncheon – Schreiber High School Cafeteria – hot chicken plate, and BINGO with prizes to follow. RSVP to: 516-883-6656 12:00 – 4:00 – Free carnival for all the kids in the community 2:00 – Varsity Football game vs. Plainview/Old Bethpage – Halftime Show featuring introduction of the Athletic Inductees, and the Cheerleaders and Portettes half time show Food Court on the elevated parking lot between the Weber (Flower Hill) All-Purpose Room and the Track Plus afternoon cornhole tournament, slot shot, foam party, Line Dancing at Seeber Field.
