About this event

The two-day s3: Lincoln Center Poetry Festival, curated by poet-in-residence Mahogany L. Browne, returns for a second year. Passionate soliloquies to rhythmic verses bring together a diverse array of talented performers who captivate audiences with their lyrical prowess and engaging stage presence. The festival takes place in a one-of-a-kind intimate performance space surrounded by the buzz of New York City. Prepare to be enchanted by the interplay of words, sounds, and visuals, as artists push the boundaries of what is possible in the realm of performance poetry. Whether you are an ardent lover of poetry or a curious newcomer to the world of spoken word, the s3: Lincoln Center Poetry Festival promises an immersive experience featuring captivating performances that will leave you spellbound. And just beyond the mic? We’re turning up the atmosphere with a curated lineup of local vendors, bringing guests typewritten poetry, books with bookmarks, and more! On May 23, find them in the David Geffen Hall lobby from 5:00–9:00 pm; on May 24, they’ll be just outside the Griffin Sidewalk Studio from 3:00–7:20 pm.
