Trade in the bike your child has outgrown for a refurbished bike and new helmet. Bikes are distributed first come, first served.The Kids Bike Swap starts at 11amand ends at 2 pm on the Pennsylvania Avenue side of the park, near the Bike Library.Children must be present with a parent or legal guardian, and have a used bike to swap. Please expect to sign in upon arrival to get your place in line for the Swap.At 1:30pm, we will distribute safety checked bikes to children without a bike to swap. These bikes are generally the smaller bikes, fitting children who are under 4 ft. tall.
