About this event

Heightened Scrutiny (Sundance 2025) follows Chase Strangio, ACLU attorney and the first out trans person to argue before the Supreme Court, as he fights a high-stakes legal battle to overturn Tennessee’s ban on gender-affirming care for transgender youth (United States v. Skrmetti). The film will be theatrically released at DCTV’s Firehouse Cinema in Chinatown from July 18th – July 24th. Screenings will be accompanied by discussions with Chase Strangio, director Sam Feder (DISCLOSURE), Laverne Cox and many more incredible speakers. We would love to see you there!
