Firefly Lanterns
West New Brighton Library
About this event
This program will take place indoors at the West New Brighton Library. Join our children's staff for a story and craft dedicated to nature's nightlight and our favorite summertime insect, the firefly. Learn more about how and why fireflies glow then create your own glowing paper lantern. Perfect for preschool and school-age children. Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Sign up for the biweekly NYPL Kids e-newsletter to get information on free children's programs, upcoming author talks, and more happening at the Library and online.
