BioBlitz for Beavers!

About this event

BioBlitz for Beavers invites community members to explore the rich biodiversity of the Bronx River through a guided BioBlitz ; a fun, fast-paced species identification event using the free iNaturalist app. Participants will learn how to observe and document local wildlife, from birds and insects to native plants and aquatic species, helping to build a community-powered snapshot of the ecosystem. Participants will meet at Concrete Plant Park Boat Launch and make there way to Starlight Park’s Bronx River House led by RJ Hawkins Bronx River EELS mentor and community grant recipients.
