Solo and group exhibitions at Glyndor Gallery explore the dynamic relationships between nature, culture and site. When exhibitions are on view in the spring, summer and fall, Gallery Greeters lead public exhibition tours on Thursdays and Saturdays at 2PM. New this year, guests will marvel at the 11 brand-new dinosaurs and pterosaurs making their debut as they move and roar with new cutting-edge animatronic technology so realistic that guests will feel like they’re transported back to prehistoric times. From the 43-foot Giganotosaurus, to a pair of Sphaerotholus, to the famous apex predator Tyrannosaurus rex, encountering a Triceratopsand Ankylosaurus, dino lovers of all ages will take a step back in time, but make memories guaranteed to last a lifetime. Dinosaur Safari adventurers will also experience: (NEW) Walkthrough Rib Cage Tunnel: Who else can say they’ve walked through a dinosaur rib cage? Take a walk through a life-sized Mamenchisaurus rib cage and see just how big these giants were when they walked the Earth. (NEW) Climbable Fossil: Crawl atop and explore the skull and ribs of a life-sized Sinraptor fossil. (NEW) Dino Egg Photo Opp: Take unforgettable photos with family and friends “hatching” from larger-than-life Maiasaura eggs. Fossil Dig Site: Get hands-on with an immersive dig site where guests can dig up ancient fossils and discover the very latest scientific discoveries about dinosaurs. And so much more to explore. Journey through the ages and uncover how these prehistoric species are connected to modern dinosaurs that are still alive today – birds! Along the immersive adventure, guests will encounter live interpreters along the trail and learn new discoveries about these ancient creatures, including some of the physical and behavioral adaptations used by many dinosaurs and modern wildlife, such as birds and other present-day animals.
Buzz into the fascinating world of bees and their incredible homes. Craft your own miniature bee hives using upcycled materials. Learn about life in the hive and the vital roles bees play in our ecosystem. At 11:30am families can enjoy a storytime program in the Gund Theater, all ages welcome. Wave Hill House is wheelchair-accessible. There is an accessible, ground-level entrance at the front of the building with a power-assist door. The restroom on the ground level is all-gender and ADA-compliant. Additional ADA-compliant restrooms are available on the lower level, which can be accessed by elevator.

Fun for the whole family, spend the day exploring colorful botanical displays, large-scale artworks and a monumental field of sunflowers that celebrate his iconic works. Stop by the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden to enjoy hands-on programs, like crafts and potting up plant seedlings. On select nights, experience the exhibition after dark at Starry Nights, featuring live music and performances, plus cocktails and light bites for purchase. Conditions permitting, the evening culminates in a dazzling drone show!

Solo and group exhibitions at Glyndor Gallery explore the dynamic relationships between nature, culture and site. When exhibitions are on view in the spring, summer and fall, Gallery Greeters lead public exhibition tours on Thursdays and Saturdays at 2PM. Visitors can expect an in-depth look at artworks on view in Glyndor Gallery and in the Sunroom Project Space, showcasing the work of both emerging and established artists in the unique context of a public garden.
