KIM: Columbus Park
The Kids in Motion program engages children in active, outdoors play. A NYC Parks staff member leads four to seven hours of free activities in NYC's playgrounds, including organized sports, games, fitness demos, board games, and more! Kids in Motion is a free, drop-in program without registration. Children can head to the playground during the listed hours of operation to participate. Occasionally a kids in Motion program may be cancelled due to harsh weather or other conditions. Please note: We recommend that guardians accompany children participating in this program. Kids in Motion is not a childcare program and NYC parks is not responsible for the well-being of attendees.

Sensory Friendly Storytime!
Join us for interactive stories, songs, and play during Sensory Storytime! This inclusive literacy program will be held monthly on Saturdays. It is designed to engage children through movement, music, active stories, sensory materials and visual schedules. This program is ideal for children with autism spectrum disorders, or any child that may have difficulty attending in large groups. Best for ages 2-6 years. Registration is required and sensory storytime is limited to 12 participants. Please call 212.477.6770 to register.
Infant Lapsit Storytime!
Join us for a special time to bond with your little one and meet other caregivers. We will explore the joys of movement, books, and songs, in addition to building early learning skills you can practice at home. Come prepared to sit with your child on your lap.
