The Bubble, Comedy and Music Show: Reading Colors Your World!
This program will be in person at the Yorkville Library. A Bubble, Comedy and Music Show: Reading Rocks! features wonderful classic and original children’s songs and tales. The show engages children with big giant bubbles, songs, comedy, dance, and loop station music technology. Join us for this novel performance which will be accompanied by visual and sensory experiences. Kids will dance, sing, laugh, use their imaginations and connect with new friends. The show is crafted to be inclusive for all children, including children on the Autism Spectrum, and a great time for parents and teachers! Presented by Turtle Dance Music Major support provided by the New York Life Foundation, the 2025 city-wide sponsor for the Summer Reading and Learning Programs. Additional support is provided by Jane Lauder; The Rona Jaffe Foundation; New York Yankees Foundation; Montblanc; anonymous donors; and the continuing major support of the Andreas C. Dracopoulos Family Endowment for Young Audiences. Experience the magic of our Silent Zumba, where you can choose your music but still get your body moving with the Asphalt Green community. Hit the field for 45 minutes of non-stop Zumba fun. Choose your vibe between two instructors on different playlists—and dance like nobody’s watching (or listening!).
Guggenheim Museum Wake & Make Art Studio
Get up and be inspired at our art studio for families of all ages. Breathe new life into unexpected, upcycled materials as you discover new ways to create in this weekly morning open studio. Registration includes artmaking, all materials, a bounty of ideas, and admission to the museum. Tickets for adults are required and include museum admission. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
