Summer Adventure: Sun-sational Suncatchers
Join the children’s staff from the Washington Heights library for an exciting, hands-on program dedicated to self-expression through art! Create a colorful suncatcher to hang in your window. Get creative and come up with a design that expresses your artistic mood – the colors and shape of your suncatcher are entirely up to you! Suitable for ages 5-12. First come, first served. Major support provided by the New York Life Foundation, the 2025 city-wide sponsor for the Summer Reading and Learning Programs. Additional support is provided by Jane Lauder; The Rona Jaffe Foundation; New York Yankees Foundation; Montblanc; anonymous donors; and the continuing major support of the Andreas C. Dracopoulos Family Endowment for Young Audiences.
