IKEA U.S. is kicking off its 40th anniversary with the debut of IKEA House Warming, an immersive pop-up experience celebrating four decades of iconic design and the beloved IKEA meatball. Families are invited to step into the heart of the home, the kitchen, and explore the latest cooking and dining essentials, including Gustaf Westman’s limited-edition VINTERFINT collection. Visitors will journey through every stage of mealtime, from storing and preparing to serving and enjoying, with opportunities to shop the featured products onsite. Adding to the fun, House Warming will feature daily (m)eatball happy hours, children’s scavenger hunts, personalized FRAKTA bags, kitchen planning studios, hands-on demos, tastings, and a special 40th anniversary photo moment, making it a true celebration of food, home, and life with IKEA. Additional hours for IKEA Family members only Saturdays from 11-11:30AM.

Step aboard Circle Line’s heated, holiday-transformed vessels for a two-hour evening voyage showcasing the city’s twinkling skyline, holiday music, and breathtaking views of the Statue of Liberty, Freedom Tower, and Brooklyn Bridge. It’s a one-of-a-kind way to see New York at its most magical—complete with festive décor, cozy indoor seating, and open-air decks for those crisp winter views. This year’s season launch will include special onboard activations and holiday treats for guests of all ages, including candy canes and festive activity sheets for kids on every cruise and seasonal food and beverage menu.
Dyker Heights Christmas Lights Walking Tour
This chaperoned walking tour will take you to the most celebrated homes ensuring a magical stroll through the prime viewing area where homeowners take holiday decorating to a whole new level. This world-famous tour is guaranteed to put you in the holiday spirit and have you coming back yearly to see the beautiful Dyker Heights Christmas Lights! Tour is approximately 90 minutes long and includes gifts for kids ages 3-12.
Chanukah Concert at Green Acres

The Nutcracker

Multi-award choreographer Chiara Ajkun reimagines The Nutcracker as an immersive show that blends classical numbers with spectacular dances capturing cultures around the world. To best enjoy the exquisite dancers from the New York City company of the Ajkun Ballet Theatre, you are seated feet away from the performance, surrounded by Tchaikovsky’s classical music, and welcome to take videos and photos. Sat & Sun performances at 7:30pm: The Ajkun Ballet Company at the Rudolf Nureyev Performance Space at Ballet Arts (130 W 56 th St, NYC). Journey amid graceful ballerinas, hilarious mice and dancing flowers to meet the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier. Whether you dreamt to be Clara in the Nutcracker or simply wish to cheer the winter with the festive art of the Ajkun Ballet, you will be making memories to capture with your own videos and photos of the show. The Ajkun Ballet’s Nutcracker is one not to miss! This year’s Nutcracker blends classic numbers like the waltz of the Snowflakes with native cultural expressions from around the world, such as a Chinese scene set by Alison Chen, a former dancer with Shen Yun. The number is performed by dancers from the Fei Tian College, Northern Campus. Chiara Ajkun continues to preserve the classical tradition in the Nutcracker ballet while presenting rich heritage and beauty of ancient cultures from around the world.
